How to Fix Mapi32.dll not Found Error


The Mapi32.dll error Outlook is the result of some action done without authorization as installing other messaging software or so on, and in detail the error message states the fact like this:



  • “Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Mapi32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version. This could have been caused by installing other messaging software. Please reinstall Outlook.”



On the system where it is Outlook 2003 running, installing and uninstalling of Microsoft Outlook 2007 beta 2 can cause this problem. This is because the file that is installed from the following folder on your computer C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Msmapi\LocaleID won’t be uninstalled even when you uninstall Outlook 2007.

The Mapi32.dll file is connected MAPI. It's a procedure that is considered as a module for that Windows Messaging API (MAPI).

When you receive the error message which indicates that you can reinstall the application to fix error, you can try to reinstall the application.
